Addison Cowboys Cheerleading is part of Addison Recreation Club. Addison Recreation Club (ARC) is a club devoted to teamwork, respect and fun.

The Addison Recreation Club is a non-profit organization. Our organization is non-partisan and non-sectarian and does not take part in or lend its influence or facilities, either directly or indirectly to the nomination, election or appointment of any candidate for public office in any city, village, county, township, state, school board, national, or any political election. The Addison Recreation Club does not endorse any political candidate. Any use of our name and/or links to our web are not authorized or sought and do not constitute an endorsement.

Addison Cowboys Cheerleaders are the spirit of our program. The program is a competitive and spirited traveling program offering our participants, ranging in ages from 6 to 13, the opportunity to visit different towns and cheer for their football teams. Our number one priority is cheering and performing at football games during football season to support their team and lead the crowd in cheers to inspire and encourage the football players. The season ends with a regional competition as the girls compete against other squads for the opportunity to travel to the Nationals championship in Orlando Florida.

Participants are considered eligible for the season when she meets the basic four criteria for participation:

• Proof of Age by means of a certified birth certificate
• Parental consent, signed at registration
• Medical examination
• 2010 final Report card

Our preseason-training program starts each year in August, usually the first Monday. Once the season starts, we practice Monday through Thursday from 6-8 and once schools starts we practice on Tuesday and Thursdays and occasional Saturdays. Games are played on Saturday or Sunday. The regular season begins during the last week in August or first week in September. Visit our Schedule page for dates and times.

All participants are grouped according to the official American Youth Football age/weight requirements. The only difference is that cheerleaders are not weighed before a game. Our cheer season begins on Monday, August 2nd at 6 pm at Community Park. Don't forget your water bottle, enthusiasm and energy. Outdoors - weather permitting. Dress appropriately. Bring a water bottle!
